Prosegur unveils its latest security innovation at the Mutua Madrid Open

Meet our first robotic K9 security officer named Yellow!

 Robotics now complement and extend the capabilities of our teams on the ground, allowing us to make our security service even more efficient and effective. Thanks to our new team member, the intelligent robot dog named Yellow, we raised the security and safety for all Mutua Madrid Open attendees to a new level.

The objective: security transformed

As part of our commitment to being the leader in security innovation, we built a new security plan for the Mutua Madrid Open tournament, being held from April 26 to May 8, at La Caja Mágica (The Magic Box) in Madrid.

Our tournament security team numbers more than 200 security professionals, and is organized around three security rings, from the outer perimeter to the interior. This year we have implemented the latest state-of-the-art technology, whose most visible member is the intelligent robot dog Yellow!

Yellow

    Yellow is a robotic K9 security officer that we have enhanced with artificial intelligence using our GenzAI platform.

5G technology

Our technological platform uses 5G technology to communicate any risk situations to the Prosegur Security Operations Center (SOC) in real-time.

Video analytics

Thanks to artificial intelligence, Yellow can detect suspicious items and events and alert our monitoring agents at our Security Operations Center.

Sensor

Yellow uses a wide variety of sensors that allow it to collect data from its environment, from temperature (fire detection) to gases to other types of information that could impact the security of the event.

Communication

Yellow can communicate in real-time to with the human security team, through the SOC, of any detected risks or threats to the facility or people, helping speed up the response and accuracy.

Yellow at Mutua Madrid Open

For the Mutua Madrid Open, Yellow will carry out rounds throughout the facilities, both autonomously at night and supervised by our team of professionals when there is an audience.

It will also act as a "VIP security guard," accompanying players to their training sessions or matches.
